FEES
First aid response to infants and children is an invaluable skill for both you as an individual and for your community. This course applies to a range of workers within an education and care setting who are required to respond to a first aid emergency. This includes early childhood workers and educators who work with school age children in outside school hours care and vacation programs. In this course students will also learn how to perform single rescuer cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), care for head, neck & spinal injuries, dislocations, fractures and provide time-sensitive assistance to people suffering an allergic, asthmatic or anaphylactic reactions.
This course includes:
HLTAID012 – Provide First Aid in an education and care setting*
HLTAID009 – Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation*
and
HLTAID011 – Provide First Aid*
MiHaven Training (RTO #40928) has a Third-Party Agreement in place with First Aid Academy (RTO #40920). First Aid Academy is a third-party training provider who conducts training and assessment services on behalf of MiHaven Training. Upon completion, you will be issued with a National Accredited Statement of Attainment by MiHaven Training.
Upon successful completion of all units of competency for this qualification, the student will be awarded HLTAID012 – Provide First Aid in an education and care setting, HLTAID009 Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation and HLTAID011 Provide First Aid qualifications.
This qualification will provide you with the skills and knowledge to respond to a first aid emergency, including asthma and anaphylactic emergencies. This includes early childhood workers and educators who work with school age children in outside school hours care and vacation programs.
This course is delivered face to face in the classroom, at the MiHaven Training campus or at a suitable location.
