This non-accredited Chemical Awareness short course is designed to provide students with a fundamental understanding of working safely with hazardous chemicals in the workplace. It focuses on raising awareness of chemical-related risks and the control measures required to ensure a safe working environment.
Students will gain practical knowledge in key areas including:
Ideal for workers across various industries, this short course supports a proactive approach to chemical safety and promotes compliance with workplace safety standards.
Upon successfully demonstrating competency in this unit, the student will be awarded a Certificate of Attendance (COA).
Fee-For-Service students three (3) hours study duration.
There are no entry requirements for this qualification.
While there are no formal course entry requirements, it is recommended that students be able to read, write, have numeracy skills and communicate in English to at least Australian Core Skills Framework (ACSF) level one (1).
